Trafford Council is to hold a drop-in event to make local businesses in Dunham Massey aware of available funding opportunities.

The event, which is specifically targeted at rural businesses, will be held at Dunham Massey Village Hall on School Lane on Thursday 9th February, 9–11am.

It will particularly promote funding opportunities available through the LEADER Programme, part of the Rural Development Programme for England, which is funded by the European Union and managed by Defra.

The programme aims to help create jobs and stimulate economic growth by providing funding for businesses and organisations looking to begin or expand their operations in rural areas.
