Altrincham man, 68, charged with daubing race hate graffiti on Bollin Aqueduct

A 68-year-old Altrincham man has been charged in relation to numerous race hate-motivated graffiti slogans daubed close to the Bridgewater Canal in Dunham Massey.

Tim Rustige has been charged with eight offences of criminal damage and 16 offences of intentional, religiously aggravated harassment.

The graffiti appeared on the River Bollin Aqueduct.

There’s no more information at this stage about a court date.
