Uplifting musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert opens at the Altrincham Garrick on Monday

Priscilla Queen of the Desert, the wildly popular musical about two drag queens, a transgender woman and their race to get from Sydney to Alice Springs in time to perform their act at Lasseter’s Hotel Casino Resort, comes to the Altrincham Garrick next week.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert, the wildly popular musical about two drag queens, a transgender woman and their race to get from Sydney to Alice Springs in time to perform their act at Lasseter’s Hotel Casino Resort, comes to the Altrincham Garrick next week.

The show opens on Monday 21st May and runs until Saturday 26th.

Originally premiering in Australia in 2006, the uplifting musical – based on a book by Stephen Elliott and Allan Scott – has enjoyed success all over the world, picking up a Tony Award and Laurence Oliver Award.
