After an extremely successful event last year, families and friends will once again be able to enjoy the Christmas festivities at Dunham Massey this winter.

This year’s after-dark winter trail promises to be bigger and better than the first time as organisers have added even more illuminations and surprises for visitors to enjoy.

The 100,000 pea-lights in the Tunnel of Light.

From November 30th to December 30th, the National Trust property will become a winter wonderland featuring a larger-than-life glittering deer, singing trees and a water feature finale on the lake.

On the trail, visitors can also experience the 100,000 pea-light canopy, the scented fire garden, and be able to dance to some Christmas classics.

The scented fire features will add to the Christmas feel.

Food and drink events, such as toasting marshmallows at the firepits, and a two-course traditional Christmas Dinner, will also be available at an additional charge.

Even though there isn’t a meet and greet event, visitors should still keep their eyes peeled for Father Christmas who’ll be wandering around the event.

The trail is appropriate for all ages.

Tickets for the event, in partnership with Raymond Gubbay Ltd, cost £16.50 for adults, £10 for children, aged five to 16, and £50 for a family of two adults, two children. Under fives go free.
