An Altrincham based care company are “delighted” after scoring highly in a satisfaction survey with 94% of clients recommending the service.

An Altrincham based care company are “delighted” after scoring highly in a satisfaction survey with 94% of clients recommending the service.

Home Instead Senior Care cover the Altrincham and Sale area and specialise in non-medical relationship-led care of elderly people in their own homes.

The independent survey revealed that 94% of elderly people using the service would recommend it to others, 95% believed their carer was well matched with them and 94% said their carer always arrived on time.

Dennis Brown, aged 86, said: “I would be lost without my CAREGiver Riitta, I love the time that we spend together and I really look forward to her visits. She takes me to Vibrant Voices Dementia Choir at the Bowdon Rooms every week. I have always loved to sing.”

The survey, carried out by Smith+Henderson, also quizzed the carers working for Home Instead, known as CAREGivers, who all said that they felt motivated to go above and beyond what was required of them, with 99% of carers recommending the service.

Clients and carers are matched through shared interests and visit times are a minimum of an hour so that they have time to build meaningful relationships.

The Altrincham office of Home Instead Senior Care is part of a national network of 195 independently owned and operated offices.

Home Instead also ranked 56th in the Sunday Times ‘Best 100 Small Companies to Work For’ and were the only home care provider that made the list.
