Here’s a first look inside Little World for Scholars, a new play “den” in Altrincham town centre which opens tomorrow.

Founded by mother and daughter team Diane Aurie and Nicola Aurie-Smith, the 1,500 sq ft venue on Stamford New Road is aimed at children aged between walking age and seven years old and is located opposite the Altrincham Clock Tower, in the space formerly occupied by Soda.

Play areas will include miniature versions of a vets, shop, airport, a building site, garden and a little woodland house.

Diane said: “I can’t wait to welcome the children in and to see them being a vet, being a builder, pretending to make tea, and doing all the other things they can in here in their own little world.”
