Founded by mother and daughter team Diane Aurie and Nicola Smith, both of whom are experienced in Early Years education, the 1,500 sq ft venue on Stamford New Road has proved a hit with families since opening in February.

And now it is looking to end the year with some special Christmas parties, aimed at one to five-year-olds, to include a two-hour play session, a writing to Santa activity, a gift from Santa’s elves and much more festive role play fun.

The two-hour parties will take place at 3.30pm on Friday 13th December, Wednesday 18th December and Friday 20th December.

Little World for Scholars, which already includes miniature versions of a vets, shop, airport, a building site, garden, farmyard with tractor and a little woodland house, is also set to open on Mondays during the Christmas holidays.

The space is also proving a popular choice for children’s parties, NCT groups, schools and nurseries.

“We’re really pleased with how it has gone so far,” said Nicola. “The customers have been amazing and we’re so glad that so many people seem to ‘get’ what we are doing.”
