Timperley entrepreneur Evie takes her raw and vegan snacks business into the Dragons’ Den

Founder Evie Waxman, clad in her branded pink dungarees, appeared in the den armed with her range of sugar, gluten and dairy-free products.

Four of the judges – with the exception of Peter Jones – gave her products a generally favourable response, but in the end decided against investment.

Since filming her appearance, however, Raw Bake Station has gone from strength to strength, launching into WHSmith Travel stores nationwide – as well as a first international retailer, in Germany, which has sold over 10,000 units in just six weeks.

Evie, who will also be launching into a supermarket chain later this year, said: “It feels good to prove Peter wrong!”
