That’s the lowest number of Covid-19 related deaths in the borough since the week ending March 27th, with four of the deaths recorded in a care home and three in hospital.

In the five weeks leading up to June 12th, the Trafford numbers have been 13, 12, 12, 14 and now seven, according to the Office of National Statistics.

Across the UK, a total of 1,114 death certificates mentioned coronavirus in the week ending June 12th, down 474 (30 per cent) on the 1,588 the previous week.
