Spandau Ballet founder member Steve Norman, the man behind the classic saxophone solo on classic 80s hit ‘True’, is bringing his show to Altrincham next month.

Norman, accompanied by his five-piece band The Sleevz, will be performing at The Bowdon Rooms on Sunday 5th February.

The show will see Norman play Spandau Ballet’s debut album Journeys to Glory in its entirety for the very first time.

The album, which peaked at number five in the British charts, includes the band’s first hit single To Cut A Long Story Short, plus other singles Musclebound and The Freeze.

The show will also feature later Spandau classics, including True, Gold and Only When You Leave, when Norman will also showcase his lesser-known skills as a guitarist.
