Conference Event Planner/ Venue Finder
We are on of UK’s leading Venue Finders, based in Cheshire, we specialise in delivering Meetings, Conference’s & Accommodation bookings, UK Europe & Worldwide. We are seeking a person to join our small team and are looking for a mature minded individual, fully conversant with Windows able to think quickly. The successful candidate will be required to provide an effective and proactive administrative function relating to all events and to efficiently collate and administer Client requirements in order to deliver the highest levels of customer service. Ideally you must be from a Hotel or Agency background working in Meetings & Events or C & B You will need to be able to work under pressure whilst demonstrating exceptional attention to detail. You will also need to be able to work across several events at the same time and prioritise your own time. Venue sourcing is a key part of this role so the successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of Venues and especially in London & throughout the UK.

- The applicant MUST work well under pressure, meet deadlines, be highly motivated, be highly detailed with excellent negotiation and communication skills along with excellent time management skills.
- Customer experience must be at the fore front of every conversation when dealing with the client. Ability to be able to liaise with clients and key contacts, researching and obtaining quotations from Hotels & Venues Dealing for client briefs, Venue sourcing throughout UK, Europe, Worldwide Rate, rate negotiations with venues, database management Working to processes and time frames to deliver fully detailed proposals must be able to convert all enquires, prepare confirmation of bookings.
- The successful candidate will have impeccable organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people both inside and outside the organisation and enjoy working as part of a small team. You will be highly customer focused, and have an excellent command of English language both written and orally. This is an exciting opportunity for a pro-active candidate with a can-do attitude and outstanding attention to detail.
