Emsys Maritime is currently looking to recruit a sales/service administrator to join their team located in their offices in central Altrincham.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate should be capable of working in a fast-paced environment which supports technical products
You will be required to manage the service technicians daily workload. This includes job scheduling, liaising with our in-house technicians and global service partners, shipowners, ships captains and port agents. You will ensure our technicians arrive at the right location with the correct spare parts and tools. You will have to arrange flights and accommodation and close out jobs by raising invoices to the customer
You will also be performing other general admin tasks such as preparing quotations, raising purchase orders, uploading invoices and updating our configuration management asset database, therefore you should be comfortable working with Word, Excel and other Cloud-based software applications
You will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers, therefore you must be confident on the phone and be willing to sell service plans, spare parts, and our other added-value offerings. Specific industry knowledge is not essential as training will be provided
You will need a good standard of formal education and confident in spoken and written English. Above all, we are looking for an enthusiastic team member with energy in abundance.
