New Kids Planet nursery will add up to 30 local jobs

The new 6,000 sq ft location has enough room for 109 children and has been equipped with a sensory room and landscaped gardens.

Kids Planet has opened a new nursery in Stanley Square in Sale.

The new 6,000 sq ft location has enough room for 109 children and has been equipped with a sensory room and landscaped gardens.

The new opening will create up to 30 new jobs and joins other family-friendly offerings in Stanley Square like childcare drop-off service Let Loose and family art café Bean and Brush.

Kids Planet has over 170 locations across the UK, including a nursery in Hale and one in Altrincham under the Kids Allowed brand it acquired in 2020.

Mayor of Trafford, Councillor Dolores O'Sullivan, attended the opening event.

Clare Roberts, Kids Planet CEO, Clare Roberts, said: "We are overjoyed to open Kids Planet in the vibrant area of Sale. Katy Vanden will be the nursery manager, bringing our Kids Planet approach to our brand-new setting and ensuring an enabling environment where children can explore, learn, and play."

Michael Brown, a director at Altered Space which is behind the redevelopment of Stanley Square, added: "The successful redevelopment of Sale town centre has been instrumental in attracting a variety of businesses over the past three years.

"The continuous increase in foot traffic and the addition of new tenants like Kids Planet are testament to Stanley Square's evolution into a thriving community hub.”
